NSU women’s soccer continues strong start

The NSU women’s soccer program is in familiar territory after their 10-0 start to the season. The RiverHawks started the season strong winning 10 straight, but they hiccupped after their first loss. They are now 11-2 overall and 5-2 in the MIAA after losses to the No. 2 ranked Central Missouri and an unranked Missouri Western State (12-2). They had the same start to last season as they went 10-0 to start the season and lost to both Central Missouri and Missouri Western State to fall to 11-2.


Fellowship of Christian Athletes tries to get more athletes involved

Fellowship of Christian Athletes was founded in 1954 and incorporated by its founder Don McClanen, an assistant basketball coach at Oklahoma State University. Even though this organization is primarily for Christian athletes, everybody from NSU can join FCA. 


NSU softball looks to improve

The RiverHawks softball program ended their season last year earlier than wanted. The RiverHawks finished the season 23-28 and 11-15 in MIAA play. The RiverHawks did not make the MIAA postseason tournament.
